摘要 PURPOSE:To automatically retrieve and measure the optimum ignition timing for the number of revolutions and intake pressure of an internal combustion engine which is directly connected to power meter, by making both ignition timing and operation controllers related to the engine when the optimum ignition timing is measured over the whole operation range. CONSTITUTION:A power meter 5 is connected to the output shaft 4 of an internal combustion engine 1. An operation controller 6 optionally presets the negative intake pressure and the number of revolutions while simultaneously maintaining the preset negative intake pressure and number of revolutions. A program controller 9 sequentially gives the operation controller 6 command of the operational condition under which both the negative intake pressure and the number of revolutions are combined over the whole operation range of the engine. The ignition timing controller 11 of an optimum ignition timing retriever 10 automatically controls the ignition timing at an optional operation condition for the optimum ignition timing obtained by ignition timing controller 11 together with the negative intake pressure and the number of revlution. The data stored in the circuit 12 is transmitted to an X-Y plotter 24 which is controlled by a central controller 13 and an MBT chart 25 is created, using the load which is related to the intake pressure B as a parameter.
