<p>An ingot mold with adjustable dimensions for a machine for continuously casting metal, comprising a support frame fixed on the oscillating table of the machine, two transverse walls and two longitudinal walls, connected to the support frame. The transverse walls are fixed to the support frame by application to the interior faces of the corresponding sides, and each transverse wall is provided with individual members for adjusting its thickness in accordance with the desired spacing between them. The support frame can thus be rigidly and permanently fixed on the oscillation table, the dimensions of the casting cavity being determined merely by adjustment of the thickness of the walls.</p> |
