INKING MECHANISM FOR WIRE TYPE ROD PRINTER HEAD

PURPOSE:To enable followup supply ink in an appropriate amount to a printing end of a wire by providing a special wire rear guide, an ink passage, ink recovery plate and the like behind a wire guide guiding the proximity of the printing end of the wire. CONSTITUTION:A wire rear guide 53 is provided a wire guide 52 guiding the proximity of the printing end of a wire 51 while an ink passage 50 is formed between the wire guide 52 and the wire rear guide 53 to make a capillary action. When ink introduced from an ink supply port 59 runs through a bypass 61 to drain excess ink through a drain port, the ink infiltrate into the ink passage 50 from the bypass 61 due to a capillary action thereof and led to the tip of the wire 51 through a clearance 54. The ramified ink is dispersed behind through a clearance 63 between the wire 51 and the rear guide 53. The dispersed ink is recovered through a capillary passage 68 formed on a piled surface of an ink recovery plate 56 and introduced to an ink recovery circuit 65.
