PURPOSE:To easily select an optimum point of the reception state by controlling an antenna by switching successively or automatically according whether, the reception state of the antenna is displayed on a screen or not with respect to a remote control television to which an indoor antenna is attached. CONSTITUTION:When a channel is selected by channel remote control, a microcomputer 14 outputs a defeat pulse 15 to a control circuit 16 and fixes a control line 23 to the high level on the automatic selection side. Then, the control circuit 16 operates a gate pulse generating circuit 4, a noise amplifying and detecting circuit 3, a coincidence pulse generating circuit 5, a frequency demultiplier 18, and a counter decoder 10 to automatically search an optimum reception state. When the same channel is selected next, the selection state of the antenna is displayed on the screen, and defeat pulse 15 directly operates the counter decoder 10 because the control line 23 is fixed to the low level on the successive switching side. Thus, the reception condition can be selected on the screen by repeat of selection of the same channel.
