<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the adverse influence of moisture upon adsorbents and efficiently adsorb and urify harmful components by lowering the relative humidity of the waste gas to be introduced into a treating device by the reutilization of the waste heat of the waste gas in treating the waste gas of a painting booth during painting of automative bodies. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas from a painting booth is heated in the heat receiving part of a heat exchanger 2, and is introduced into the adsorption part A of a rotary type active carbon adsorption waste gas treating device 1, whereby the harmful components in the waste gas are adsorbed away. At the same time, the outside air heated by a heater 4 introduced into a desorbing part B, to heat the desorbing part B. The heating air itself flows as a high concn. harmful gas component out from a lead-in path 16 into the treating device while desorbing the adsorbing harmful components. The purified waste gas is heated by the heat energy from the heating desorbing part and flows into the heat supply part of the heat exchanger by passing through a lead-in path 11, and heats the waste gas flowing in the heat receiving part, thence it is released through an exhaust duct 12.</p> |
