PURPOSE:To prevent a misfiring by providing a distributor which has the rotating switch piece a with rotating grounding piece, which grounds an induced voltage generated by an action of a rotating switch piece. CONSTITUTION:A rotating switch 3 which is fixed to a rotor 2 of a disributor 1 of a distribution unit is arranged opposing to a fixed switch piece 4 connected to a spark plug 12 via a high-voltage distribution cord 8. Since an induced voltage generated by flowing a high-voltage through said high-voltage distribution cord 8 is grounded by an arc-shaped rotating grounding piece 16 which is fixed to the rotor 2 and opposing to a switch 5, 6, and 7 connected to an another sprak plug 13, 14, and 15, via a resistance 17, the misfrings of the ignition plugs 13, 14 and 15 can be prevented. |
