The roller-type printing press is particularly for offset, intaglio or flexo printing, having printing, drying and cooling units. The latter has one or more round rollers of smaller diameter at the centre than at the ends. On one or more of the cooling rollers (10) diameter decreases steadily from the outer ends to the centre, typically forming a concave line. After this roller, the paper (6) can be run over a second cooling roller (11), against which a pressure roller (12) bears.
