REACTANT FOR SOIL STABILIZATION AND PROCESS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:An acid as a reaction accelerator is added to an emulsion of dicarboxylic alkyl ester to produce a reactant for soil stabilization with less reduction in volume change caused by syneresis, no inflammation and gel time readily adjustable. CONSTITUTION:To (A) an emulsition or solution of a dicarboxylic alkyl ester is added (B) an inorganic acid or its salt and/or an organic acid or its salt to produce the reactant for stabilizing soil. The reactant is injected into the soil together with water glass to effect the reaction for curing, thus stabilizing the soil. Examples of component A are methyl and ethyl ester of succinic, gultaric or adipic acid. EFFECT:The transportation, storage and handling are simple and easy.
