PURPOSE:To observe data read out from a specified position, by specifying a track position, a sector position and a word position by a device which writes and reads data by being specified by a computer. CONSTITUTION:In off-line mode when a switch 13 for alternating on- and off-line operations is open, an off-line signal 14-1 from an inverter 14 goes to ''1'' and in this state, the command 35 of reading to a disk 3 is issued. A word counter 235 counts the number of words after being reset with a selector signal 33 and its output is compared with the value of a switch group 235; when both coincide with each other, a coincidence signal 238-1 is outputted and a synchronizing signal 205-1 is also outputted. This signal 205-1 is supplied as a trigger pulse to an external observation equipment to observe data read out from an optional word position in an optional sector. |
