<p>A pneumatic brake booster for a hydraulic brake system where a master cylinder is disposed between the splashboard of a vehicle and the booster housing. The booster acts on the master cylinder piston by means of a push rod and is controlled by an actuating rod extending from a brake pedal through the center of the master cylinder and the push rod to the booster control valve disposed in the booster housing. The booster housing is light weight, since it is loaded by only the pneumatic pressure.</p> |
