The appliance consists of a frame with a lower frame pedestal, in which an electronic exciting circuit for a converter is accommodated, the converter being accommodated in the upper frame part. The upper frame part is shaped to form a mask, to which a container for a product to be sprayed is attached. The container is placed above a device for the supply of liquid, and the liquid particles leaving the device pass onto the spray plate of the converter. The device for supplying the liquid comprises means which can be activated by the converter, with the result that a stream of little droplets of small size is generated in synchronism with the vibrations of the converter and passes onto the spray plate. <IMAGE>
