<p>The hoist consists of a jib (2) supporting a cable (5) running over a pulley (3). The pulley spindle (21) is supported by the head (4). The head supports the block and tackle (8) with the lower block (7) being fitted with a hook (17). The head is fitted with a cross beam (15) carrying a fixed hook. The pulleys (3,7) can be locked together by the straps (27) and the flange plates can swivel so as to extend beyond the end of the jibs. The cable (5) can be led from either direction.</p> |
