In a lamp for outdoor lighting with a normally closed lamp housing comprising translucent side walls 7 and also a floor 1 and a top cover 8, easy access to the inner of the lamp housing is obtained by only one 13 of a number of guide rods 13, 16, which protrude from the top cover 8 down into connecting tubes 12 between the floor 1 and a plate ring 11 placed below the top cover 8, is extending right through its connecting tube to obtain locking engagement with the floor, while the rest of the connecting rods 16 end in such a distance from the floor 1 that they at releasing of the locking engagement and lifting of the side walls 7 may be guided out of the respective connecting tubes and brought into abutment with the upper side of the plate ring 11. <IMAGE>
