PURPOSE:To lower the probability of the occurrence of a transfer error by reducing electric power consumption by initiating the initial driving of a cylindrical magnetic domain from the center of a conductive layer slot. CONSTITUTION:When AC currents J1 and J2 with phases 11 and 12 differing by 90 deg. are applied to conductor layers 3 and 1 for driving a cylindrical magnetic domain equipped with overlapping slots 7..., and 6..., the cylindrical magnetic domain generates driving force and a composite magnetic field becomes a traveling wave. Then, when this cylindrical magnetic domain is generated from the center, etc., of the slots 6..., the cylindrical magnetic domain is affected by the maximum magnetism gradient and the driving force in initial driving is maximized. Therefore, magnetic bubbles are transferred at a low rate of error occurrence with small currents and low power consumption. |
