The assembly is for movement between the ends (1,2) of two articulated railway vehicles on a single bogie transom (35). It includes a joining floor (83) between the two. The covering pivots on the transom by two pivots and is joined to each body roof. The joint includes stabilisers (5) to maintain in the centre of the roof, equidistant from both bodies. The two pivots are symmetrical relative to the transom to allow covering oscillation relative to the transom around the pivot. The covering has a flat frame with an arc shaped cover to give a T section.
