PURPOSE:To facilitate a fault detection of a call link, by storing previously the call link used to a connecting route through a fault detection of the connecting route and then comparing the stored call link with another call link when a fault of the connecting route due to a subsequent connection of the route is detected. CONSTITUTION:When a fault such as a defective conduction of a connecting route, etc. is detected by a fault detector FD, a fault link detector FLNKD compares the connecting route information given from a channel control device SPC, etc. with the information on a link to be doubted of its fault that is previously stored in a fault doubtful link information storing device DLNKM through a detection of fault of the connecting route. In case a link having a coincident collation exists, the relevant link is decided as a faulty link. While in the case of dissident collation, the connecting route information of this time is stored in the device DLNKM in the form of a fault doubtful link information to be used for a collation information when a subsequent fault of connecting route is detected. |
