PURPOSE:To make an arithmetic unit simple and processing speed fast by performing linear approximation by an adder and a subtractor alone. CONSTITUTION:When displacement is made by 1 unit in an X axis direction, the displacement in a Y axis direction is mede either one unit or 0 unit. Namely, the device is so arranged that, when the displacement in the Y axis direction is >=1/2 unit at the time when the displacement is made by 1 unit in the X axis direction, the displacement in the Y axis direction is made 1 unit, and when it is <=1/2 unit, it is made 0 unit. |
