DAMAGE DETECTION OF SUN GEAR

摘要

PURPOSE:To accurately detect damage developed in a sun gear by computing two kinds of time series signals obtained from the detection meshing noises or vibrations. CONSTITUTION:A meshing signal detected with a signal detector 1 is passed through filter extract only frequency components effective for the detection of damage so that an envelop is detected with an envelop detector 6. On the other hand, the revolution frequency of a sun gear is detected with a rotation detector 2 and inputted as a rotation signal into dividers 4 and 5 to divide. The output of the envelop detector 6 and the output of the dividers 4 and 5 are separately inputted into AD converters 7 and 8. After the sampling of the output of the envelop detector 6, it is inputted into equalizers 9 and 10, the outputs of which are inputted into a comparator 11 to determine the ratio therebetween. The output therof enables the detection of damage developed in a sun gear.
