PURPOSE:To obtain a tubular film having an excellent transparency efficiently according to an inflation process by a method wherein a melted tubular film extruded from a die is annealed, and a cold wind is blown against the film in the rectangular direction just after annealing and the film is quenched. CONSTITUTION:A melted tubular film 5 extruded from a die lip 3 is hardly deformed being heat-insulated and slowly cooled in an atmosphere in an annealing chamber 6, the smoothness of the surface is increased and the film is made travel. A large amount of a cold wind are blown against an outer circumferencial surface of the tubular film 5 from an ejecting port 16 of an air ring 7 at a right angle toward the axis just after the travelling and the film is quenched while the tubular film is expanded by air injected from an air port 4. The expanded film contacts with a cold wind from an opening 10 flowing in the progressive direction, is solidified and received by means of pinch rolls 14. |
