PURPOSE:A cosmetic is molded into a stick and pressurized air is diagonally blown down to the top of the mold cavity and the solidified cosmetic is withdrawn from the cavity, thus readily producing scratch-free and beautiful products. CONSTITUTION:The melted cosmetic is poured int a mold and solidified by cooling. Then, when the stick is withdrawn from the cavity, pressurized air is diagonally blown down to the tangential part between the molded cosmetic stick and the top edge of the cavity. For example, the withdrawing is conducted by means of a device provided with pressurized air nozzles which are arranged in a ring above the opening of the cavity and directed diagonally from the upper outside to the lower inside. By this blowing, the pressurized air comes into gaps between the mold and the stick to release the adhering parts of the stick to the mold and the stick is taken out in no contact with the cavity, thus the product is scratch-free and beautiful. |
