PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of a starter for an induction generator by connecting the bus of a synchronous generator to the bus of the induction generator via a bus connecting switch, thereby starting the induction generator with the synchronous generator. CONSTITUTION:The bus 4 of a synchronous generator is connected to the bus 12 of an induction generator via a bus connecting switch 13. After the voltage of the synchronous generator 2 is established, a breaker 3 and the switch 13 are closed and a breaker is closed, thereby starting the induction generator 9. Since the induction generator 9 thus starts directly, the voltage of the generator 2 will largely drop, but is immediately recovered by the operation of an automatic voltage regulator 5. After the voltage is recovered, breaker groups 7, 11 for a load are closed, thereby enabling the operation of the load. |
