<p>A releasable hook, the releasable hook comprising: a frame; a generally, U-shaped hook having a first leg and a second leg; a first means mounting the U-shaped hook on the frame so as to allow the hook to rotate with respect to the frame; a stop; the stop being mounted on a pawl; the pawl being movable to move the stop for engagement and disengagement with the first leg of the U-shaped hook; a cam plate; the cam plate being movable; a cam follower on the pawl for following the movement of the cam plate; a balance lever; the balance lever having a bearing surface for bearing against the cam plate; the balance lever being movable; a release lever; the release lever being movable for moving away from the balance lever to allow the balance lever to allow the cam plate to move to allow the pawl and the stop to move away from the first leg to allow the U-shaped hook to rotate.</p> |
