PURPOSE:To prevent the defective immunizing process against fat due to insufficient etching liquid by a method wherein the etching liquid is supplied to the reservoir of etching liquid being impregnated into liquid absorbing rollers even in case the master is crossing the etching liquid reservoir. CONSTITUTION:The etching liquid in an etching liquid tank 1 is pumped up by lower rollers by the respective rotation of the lower rollers 2-4 and upper rollers 5-7 while the etching liquid reservoirs 9 having wedgelike sections are formed at the respective engaging parts of the lower rollers and the upper rollers. The master M is transferred crossing over the etching liquid reservoirs 9 formed by the lower roller 2 and the upper roller 5 and is coated with the etching liquid in the etching liquid reservoir on the surface thereof on which the immunizing process against fat is processed. The etching liquid is supplied to the etching liquid reservoir of the upper roller 5 even when the master is crossing the etching liquid reservoir thereof, therefore, shortage of the etching liquid will never be caused and the excellent and perfect immunizing process against fat may be effected. |
