PURPOSE:To realize a high-speed exchange of data with a time relation independent from a synchronous terminal and a synchronous terminal-terminating device, by permitting a data signal to execute a code conversion through a timing index system and then absorbing the jitter of the demodulated timing signal. CONSTITUTION:At a modulating circuit 1, the data signal sent from a synchronous terminal plus the clock signal sent synchronously with the data signal are permitted to execute a code conversion into a digital signal train through a timing index system. This digital signal democulates and transmits both the data signal and the timing signal by a demodulating circuit 8 via a multiplying circuit 2, a switchboard control device 5, a highway switch 3 which is switched by a time slot converting circuit 4, and a separating circuit 7. At the same time, the timing signal is supplied to a phase synchronous circuit 9 and then transmitted through synchronizing with the data signal after absorbing the phase distortion added on a data highway in addition to the distortion of time quantization caused during a code conversion. |
