The die for making concrete beams is drawn along a table on which the concrete is deposited. It has a set of parallel longitudinal shapers (2) with surfaces designed to form the shape of the beams. These are attached to a cross beam (6) which can be raised and lowered by a vertical piston and cylinder (9), attached to a central lifting rod. The ends are also guided by vertical rods (7). The ends of the shapers are attached to a rectangular section cross bar (13) carried under the overhang of a line of shoes (11) spaced between the shapers, and connected to the cross beam so that they can rise and fall above the shapers. In the lower position, they compress the concrete underneath. At the rear is a vertical closure plate (4) which is raised and lowered by a central cylinder (5).
|
