A filtration device for concentration of liquid media comprises a diaphragm means (6, 7) which is arranged and supported in a transparent housing (1, 2), is loaded by the liquid column of the medium and which divides the housing into a concentrate chamber (14) and a filtrate chamber (15), the concentrate chamber (14) ending in an impermeable, funnel-shaped lowermost portion (3) arranged directly opposite to an inlet and outlet opening (5). The diaphragm means (6, 7) divides the housing (1, 2) nearly vertically-diagonally and the filtrate chamber (15), which is arranged underneath the concentrate chamber (14), is provided in its uppermost region (4) with a filtrate outlet (9, 10) connectible to a suction device.
