<p>1. A control device for a dental chair comprising a programme controller having a theoretical value actual value comparison unit and a plurality of programme selection keys (12, 13), for activating adjustment devices (6) for adjusting at least the seat height (4) and the tilting position of the back (5) of the chair, whereby the chair is automatically adjusted into a position determined by the theoretical values, and having correction switching elements (11) which act upon the adjustment devices (6) only during their operation, characterised in that there is a logic circuit (17) with a preliminary theoretical store (21), wherein the actual values (20) formed during any correction effected by operating the correction switching elements (11) are stored as preliminary theoretical values, that a first actuation of a demand key (15) combined with one of the programme selection keys (12, 13) causes the preliminary theoretical values to be stored in the preliminary theoretical store (21), that a renewed actuation of said demand key (15) causes the preliminary theoretical values (21) to be transmitted into a comparator (19), to be compared with the instantaneous actual values (20), and that the logic circuit together with the adjustment devices (6) of the chair components (4) to be adjusted, are electrically switched such that during the first actuation of the demand key (15) they receive control signals in accordance with an adjustment of the chair into the position determined by the programme, and upon the renewed, second actuation of said key (15) they receive control signals in accordance with an adjustment of the chain into the previously adjusted position which corresponds to the preliminary theoretical values (21).</p> |
