PURPOSE:To provide a convenient copying apparatus free from trouble, by providing a conveyor route for conveying a transfer paper separated from a photosensitive drum toward the other photosensitive drum without inverting it upside down. CONSTITUTION:An optical exposure system consists of a light-transmissive original placing plate 11 for placing an original, 2 photosensitive drums 15, 16 rotating in the directions reverse from each other, lamps 13, 14 usable for exposure with reciprocation, and an image forming lens 17. The image of an original 12 on the original placing plate 11 is formed on one photosentive drum 15 in the forward movement of the optical system, and in its backward movement another image is formed on the other drum 16 by changing over an image formation light path with a light path changing mirror 18. Chargers 24, 25, developing devices 26, 27, transfer devices 28, 29, and cleaning devices 30, 31 are provided near the circumferences of the 2 drums 15, 16, respectively, and a conveyor route provided with rollers 36, 37, 38 for conveying the transfer paper subjected to transfer on the drum 15 and separated from it toward the other drum 16 without inverting the paper upside down is installed. |
