PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator shattle having an elevator cage passing the other cages between three or more on a multiple deck car frame. SOLUTION: While elevator cages A to K move upward through elevator shafts 32 to 34 compounded continuing three or more in the upper decks of rectangular deck car frames 35 to 37, they move downward through elevator shafts at the lower decks. In order to shift between the decks, the cage is off loaded from the elevator shafts to the rectangular deck auxiliary elevators 42 and 49 at the terminal levels of the shattling. The cage is moved to the landing halls 43, 44, 50, and 51 for landing of passengers in the auxiliary elevator. In an execution example, the elevator cage is moved from the main elevator car frame to the landing hall through an auxiliary elevator, and thereafter, it is moved to the upper part (or the lower part) of the main elevator by the auxiliary elevator. |
