<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a water supply device having high thermal efficiency and simple structure of a low cost by burning fuel in a water heater body having a heating region for heating water by retaining it therein, and diffusing generated combustion gas in water in the region. SOLUTION: A fuel and assist burning gas supply unit 4 mixes fuel gas supplied via a fuel gas supply passage 12 and the air of combustion-assisting gas supplied from a combustion-assisting gas supply passage 13 to supply its mixture. Fuel supplied together with the combustion-assisting gas is burnt by a burner 8 disposed in a combustion chamber 3, and generated combustion gas is diffused into water in a heating region 1 from a fuel gas injection hole 11 formed at a combustion chamber body 10. Thus, since combustion gas can be directly heat exchanged with water to be heated and the chamber can be indirectly heat exchanged with water, high heat exchange efficiency can be obtained.</p> |
