Spinning frame, preferably ring continuous frame intended for the spinning of spun yarns, having in each spinning section two textile fiber slivers coming out one next to the other, untwisted, from the drafting device and converging towards a common union point wherefrom they are twisted together so as to form the spun yarn. For each spinning section there is provided a thread breakage device (22) which has a thread guide (24; 24', 24''; 24b, 24c), which, after breakage of one of the two threads (slivers), is subjected to a deflection so as to break the other thread. To achieve rapidly and surely the breakage of the other thread, the deflection of the thread guide or of one of its members (24', 24''), caused by the unbroken thread (14'), causes a jamming of the thread into a tightening slot or triggers a separation device (50, 52), hereby breaking the remaining thread. |
