<p>A method of making antifrictional materials provides that a carbon base (siliconized graphite consisting of 5 to 25 percent by weight of silicon, of 25 to 55 percent by weight of silicon carbide and the balance being carbon) is subjected to thermal treatment under vacuum of 10-1 to 10-3 mm of mercury at a temperature ranging from 1500 to 2000 C during 15 to 60 minutes, after which the carbon base is saturated with metals and their alloys. </p> |
