PURPOSE:To obtain a rotor having high mechanical reliability and small quantity of introduced heat to a cryogenic part for a superconductive rotary machine by providing a projection on the inner surface of a torque tube and securing a side radiation shield with the projection. CONSTITUTION:A projection 16 is formed on the inner surface of torque tube 1, a side radiation shield 13 is inserted into the inner surface of the tube 1, and is fixed in contact with the projection 16. The projection can secure the side surface of the side radiation shield and can reduce the thermal resistance between the torque tube and the side radiation shield with high mechanical strength. The projection serves as an axial stopper, and facilitates the positioning and assembling of the rotor. The projection 16 serves as the mechanically reinforcing member of the torque tube 1 and prevents the deformation of the tube. The projection thus improves the rigidity of the rotor and alleviates the vibration of the rotor. |
