PURPOSE:To reduce the queuing time for transmission of data, by detecting a data transmission request given from a terminal device by a scanner itself and connecting the data communication circuit of only the terminal device that gave a data transmission request to the data communication circuit of an upper device through the scanner. CONSTITUTION:A scanner 10 contains a transmission procedure control circuit (LSI)11 that performs a communication to an upper device plus a control circuit 12 that gives a control among the blocks based on the data given from the upper device and a data terminal device (TRM). In addition, the LSI13-15 corresponding to the storage terminal interfaces are added along with a scanning circuit (SCNC) which detects the transmission request signals given to the data transmission request lines 70-90 from the TRM30-50 and gives an instruction to an LSI to connect to data communication circuits 72, 73, 82, 83, 92 and 93 electrically to a bus BUS17 plus the transmission level converting circuit 18-20. |
