PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of heat and breakage of a flasher unit for car, detecting the short-circuited current and controlling the characteristics of load circuit. CONSTITUTION:A transistor 215 turns on by the potential drop, when the short- circuited condition is generated between one terminal end of a leak resistor 26 and the ground, that is, a flashing indicator lamp is short-circuited and the short-circuited current flows to the resistor 21. Then, the potential of main power source is applied to the negative side of a capacitor 110 through a diode 224. At this time, a transistor 50 is in ON condition as the current flows to the resistors 80, 100 and 120 and the capacitor 110, however, the current becomes hard to flow to the resistors 80 and 90 and to the capacitor 110 by high potential applied to the negative side of the capacitor 110, and the transistor 50 turns off condition. Therefore, a transistor 40 turns off condition, a coil 22 is deenergized and a switch 23 is opened. |
