PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble of a processor applied device from occurring, by detecting a specific pattern of the control signal and by disciminating the generation time of the specific pattern by the signal, which is obtained by delaying this detection signal, and the detection signal and by resetting the specific pattern by the discrimination output. CONSTITUTION:An input signal 2 is applied to a microprocessor 1, and an electronic device is controlled by outputs OUT1-n from the processor 1. Outputs OUT1-4 of a specific pattern of this processor 1 are detected by an AND gate 3, and the detection signal (a) of the gate 3 is applied to one input of an NAND gate 5 directly, and the detection signal (a) is caused to pass through a delay circuit 4 to obtain the output signal (b), and this signal (b) is applied to the other input of the gate 5. If the output of the gate 3 is continued for a definite time T or longer, the signal (c) is output from the gate 5 to judge the output of the specific pattern to be abnormal, and the signal (c) is applied to a reset terminal 6 of the processor 1 to stop outputting of the specific pattern from the processor 1, thus preventing the trouble of the applied device from occurring. |
