PURPOSE:To make a pedometer small-size and lightweight considerably, by sliding or moving a battery vertically freely to serve it as a weight. CONSTITUTION:A battery case 16 is provided with the hanging part 19, which is extended upward in one body, besides the terminal metallic material 17 and the spring terminal 18 which are compressed to both poles of the battery 15 and are held, and the case 16 is hung down slidably freely in the fitting part 10a of the case 10 by the shaft 20. The permanent magnet 21 is fixed to the rear face of the case 10, and the circuit substrate 14 is fitted to the rear face of the battery case 16. The magnetism sensing element 23 is arranged in the notch 22 of the substrate 14 in accordance with the slide locus of the magnet 21. Consequently, if the element 23 is arranged in accordance with either of left and right limit points of the slide motion of the magnet 21, the case 16 with the battery 15 as a weight is slided by the acceleration due to sliding for every step, and the signal of one pulse is transmitted for every step. |
