摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a structural material for high-temp. use with improved adhesion of its coat and improved heat and corrosion resistances by coating the surface of an Mo base structural material with a thin layer of B or Ti. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a structural material made of Mo or Mo alloy is coated with a thin layer of B or Ti in about 5-50mum thinkness by vapor phase plating or other method. B and Ti are used separately or combinedly. The thin layer has dense structure and high adhesion to the structural material. Even if the resulting structural material for high temp. use is heated to about 1,400 deg.C in the air and a vacuum, it holds the high heat and corrosion resistances, so it can be used mainly as a material for a high-temp. furnace.
