PURPOSE:To cool the optical device and the inside of the copying device simultaneously, by feeding cooling air, which is fed from the blower, to the exposing optical device side at the exposure scanning time and by feeding this cooling air to the photoreceptor side by turning of the deflecting plate when the exposing optical device is returned. CONSTITUTION:Exposing optical device 6 is provided under platen 4 of the electrostatic copying machine. When this optical device 6 moves in the exposure direction, deflecting plate 5 is turned right, and the cooling air current fed from blower 1 is caused to go toward the optical device 6 side to cool it. Next, when this optical device 6 is returned, deflecting plate 5 is turned left, and this air current is caused to go toward the photoreceptor 3 side to cool it. Thus, the optical device and the inside of the copying machine are cooled simultaneously by turning of the deflecting plate. |
