The front ends of the leaf spring plug contacts, which can be brought together, are each fitted with two independently functioning spring shanks. Each plug contact (1,1') has at its contact end a longitudinal separating slit (2,2') forming the two spring shanks (3,4;3',4'). One shank (3,3') is bent out from the sheet metal strip plane of the contact body (5,5') by an amount corresponding to its material thickness. The free ends of both spring shanks are so bent against each other in the direction of their transverse axes that each of the plug contacts in the same plane has an overlap of the two shank ends (6,7;6',7'), forming two spring paths. Preferably one spring shank has a latching notch oriented from outside to inside which can fit into an aperture (10,10') in the other spring shank. The overlapping corners of the shank ends may be fitted with a spreading run-up section.
|
