<p>The equipment cuts open cartons containing milk and other liq. products, having a frame (5) fitting over the top of the carton (17). In the frame is a slot (10) through which the opening lug is inserted after swinging upwards (18). A blade with a cutting edge (16) is guided above the slot. The blade can typically be a rotary disc (15) with a sharp edge, the latter spiralling round the axis of rotation (11) of the disc. The latter can be actuated by a hand lever.</p> |
