<p>PURPOSE:To prevent waste liquid from leaking out of a wet-type exhaust-gas treating device by a method wherein all of the waste liquid from the treating device is introduced on the upstream of a dry-type duct collector and is contacted with the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:A portion of the washings 11 discharged from a cooling tower 6 is introduced into a neutralizing tank 28 through a line 13, and also a portion of filtrate separated from gypsum in a line 23 is fed into the tank 28 through a branch line 25. In the tank 28, a neutralizing agent 26 is added to the liquid mixture so that the impurities contained in water fed from the lines 13, 25 are precipitated to form a slurry. The slurry is fed through a line 29 into a drier 30, where it is contacted with the exhaust gas 2 fed from a coal-fueled boiler 1 so that it is dried by the thermal energy of the exhaust gas 2. The chlorides in the slurry become solid particles of CaCl2, MgCl2 and the like, which are fed through line 31 and are discharged to the exterior of the system as solid matter together with fly ash 4 by the dry-type dust collector 3. Accordingly, the secondary pollution due to the waste liquid can be prevented.</p> |
