The ski carrier consists of a T shaped frame (1), with movable saucer-shaped flaps (4) hinged to the horizontal part (3) of the frame. The flaps incorporate a fitment for cross-country skiing. The fitment is shaped as a socket, from which extend sideways fixture flanges. The outer surface of the socket has bridge-pieces for the cross-country skiing fitment. The flaps extend parallel to the base surface, a little apart from the base surface of the saucers and have fixture lugs which hold down the fixture flanges of the fitment.
