The valve for a fuel gas cylinder has a gas inlet canal inside which there can be lodged, after the bottle filling operation, a capsula with a smaller diameter canal for dispensing the gas. The capsula comprises an elastic sealing part having a pipe connection which penetrates the gas inlet canal. The pipe connection reduces the diameter of the gas inlet canal, and also forms the valve seat for a ball shaped valve body. In operation, a pressure reduction valve is seated on the valve. The pressure reduction valve includes a connection cannula which pierces the capsula to free the valve body.
