PURPOSE:To obtain a stable phase shift queantity against a temperature variation, by detecting a decreased portion of magnetic flux in case of a residual magnetizing phenomenon of a ferrimagnetic substance which is used in microwave and millimeter wave bands, and setting to a necessary magnetization state. CONSTITUTION:The primary coil 3 for excitation and the secondary coil for detection of magnetic flux are made to pass through the hole of the troidal ferrimagnetic substance 1, and are placed in the waveguide. The excitation voltage V1 is applied to the terminal P2 of the coil 3 by applying an exciter starting pulse 6 to the terminal P1 of the exciter 5. Voltage V2 induced in the terminal P3 of the coil 4 is inserted 7, and when this outut v1 has attained to the voltage v2 corresponding to a prescribed phase shift quantity, an excitation cut-off pulse 10 is outputted to the terminal P5. The subtractor 11 is started by this pulse 10, an output obtained from the subtractor 11 is added 12, and the reference voltage which has been conpensated is denoted as v2+DELTAv. An exciation starting pulse 13 is applied in this state, it is cut off again, and a prescribed magnetization state is set. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a stable phase shift quantity against a temperature variation. |
