PURPOSE:To largely simplify the constitution of a recorder by obtaining the moving force of a carriage and the discharging force of ink droplets from a common driving energy. CONSTITUTION:A carriage CA starts to move by a printing command signal, the position is detected by a diming pulse, a voltage is applied to 9 electrodes LZ1- LZ9 for driving the discharge of ink droplets at a given position, and a conductive ink H1 is selectively energized electrically. Then, ink droplets are injected and printed in one line on a recording paper. After the completion of one-line printing, a paper-sending pulse motor is turned by as much as pitch as one line and at the same time the carriage AC is moved in the opposite direction to perform the same printing. Thus, since the moving force of the carriage AC and the discharging force of ink droplets DP1-DP9 can be obtained from a common driving energy, the constitution of the recorder can be largely simplified. |
