PURPOSE:To increase the heating effect of the air-fuel mixture by providing a heating device consisting of a positive characteristic resistance ceramic fitted in the inner wall of the air-fuel mixture passage of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A thermal insulation plate 2 is inserted between a carburetor 3 and a suction air passage 4, said insulation plate 2 having a positive characteristic resistance ceramic 1 of a circular shape and with a littice structure inserted therein. The inner surface 6 of said ceramic 1 is arranged to be flush with the inner wall surface 7 of the air-fuel mixture passage to eliminate the resistance by the outer wall of the ceramic 1 and to have whole air-fuel mixture contact with the inner wall surface of the ceramic 1. |
