PURPOSE:To make the packing density of molding sand on the surface of a pattern uniform by compressed air flow and efficiently obtain a mold having sufficient hardness by providing a hollow chamber intercommunicating with a compressed air source in a squeeze table, and providing with a molding chamber securely thereonto. CONSTITUTION:A squeeze table 10 is moved upward to superpose a conveying molding board 7 on the under surface of a molding chamber 11, thereby forming a hermetic chamber in the chamber 11. Molding sand is packed in the hermetic chamber through a blow-in hole 21, and compressed air is supplied through small holes 6 into the chamber 11. This compressed air passes through the inside of the molding sand and is exhausted through a vent hole 18, an exhaust hole 16 and an exhaust hole 13. At this time, the packing density is made uniform to develop sufficient packing hardness near the surface of a pattern board 19 by moving and replenishing the molding sand. Hence, the board 19 is forced downward together with a squeeze plate 17, whereby the molding sand in the chamber 11 is squeezed. This molding mold is grasped between the board 19 and the board 7 and is pushed downward, by which the molding mold is removed. |
