<p>A function for maintaining the traffic state of a mobile phone in a weak electric field state is provided to enable a mobile phone to keep up a call state more by transmitting Tx power periodically and to enable the mobile phone to maintain better call quality by resetting the quality of each data frame periodically. A layer-1 block of the call processing S/W of a mobile phone divides existing 120 frames by 1/n in a bad frame check function, wherein "N" is proportional to each base station environment. The mobile phone, in an environment of less than -9 Ec/Io or -90 dbm, periodically transmits Tx power, and starts bad frame counting again from "0".</p> |
