NOVEL DERIVATIVES OF FORTIMICIN B

Novel fortimicin B derivatives are disclosed having antibacterial or antiseptic activity. The derivatives are compounds of the formula where R1 is R2 is and R3 and R4 are each C1-C8 aminoalkyl or hydroxyalkyl, or C2-C9 carbamoylaminoalkyl or aminohydroxyalkyl, and their non- toxic acid addition salts. Compositions containing them are also described.
